This is the US Coast Guard. A windsurfer board has washed ashore at Demarest Lloyd State Park in Dartmouth, MA. Anyone with info on a possible owner please call 508-457-3211 |

Pic was in the local paper. I don't think boards just "wash up" looking that good, especially an older Protech epoxy hull and a monofilm sail, and at Demarest Lloyd where there's little surf break if any. That board looks placed there by somebody who went to lunch or the porta john and didn't come back right away.
I did see a Protech hull on a roofrack/black SUV go by my house on Horseneck Road, and I don't see many windsurfers go by this decade. I called the Coast Guard and they said owner was found, no more info, but I bet it was that one. |
