Sorry for the red strap (I could've tied it off in about three seconds but I thought it would just stay downwind Oh well live/learn)

How did you mount your camera?

Looks like he strapped it to the mast with a long red strap Smile

I just used the standard "Bicycle seat post/ Handlebar clamp" on the top of the sail between the head cap and the top of the sail facing aft,
OMG that damn red strap I can't believe I neglected such an obvious Blunder,
Oh well maybe today we will have some swell, jumping and slashing should be great from that vantage point!

Hi Brian,

I have used this with my go pro..

http://gopro.com/camera-mounts/handlebar-seatpost-mount/?utm_medium=shoppingengine&utm_source=googlebase&cvsfa=2093&cvsfe=2&cvsfhu=313134&gclid=CKeDjJLNtLgCFeZxQgod-mEA5w

not the sturdiest of devices.. ( need to construct some type of leash like here - http://www.unsponsored.co.uk/press/?p=2479 )

If you have a sail with an adjustable head.. Then let out some of the head to where you can expose your mast.

Slide half the device behind the sail adjustment strap directly against the mast - and half of the device in front of the mast with the camera mount. ( make sure you have the mount so you can rotate the camera forward down )

cheers!

Thanks Ben that's exactly how I attached it to the mast for this video it's clamped onto the mast just above the sail and just below the cap (Red Strap is the mast cap strap)
