it's possible to store screws in a board. just put a rubber washer on the screw after it passes through the board. keeps fin screw in place and makes installing a fin really fast. just insert fin and tighten screw.
of course, this won't work with US box fins.
l think I learned this from Lee Brittain of Rogue Wave board fame. |

Yup. I use little wedges cut from rubber stock. Mistral's tool-less Powerbox fins screws make it even easier on their boards. |
