Hey everyone,
So I've been on a windsurfing road trip for two weeks now and I've sailed 0 times. To be fair I don't sail anything bigger than a freestyle 107 and a 5.3, but regardless I need to get on a plane somewhere north of Oregon. I'm on my way to Canada from California and am looking for somewhere to sail. I have my trailer and generator with me so I'm very mobile. Any suggestions. Was thinking maybe la push or something like that. I have surfboards to. Thanks in advance for all relevant tips and suggestions.

So where ARE you?
Florence can be surfed on S winds, inside the jetties.
If you want to surf really badly, for sure the winds will come up.
If you need wind to windsurf, for sure it will stay windless and surfing is your only choice.

I'm at memaloose state park by hood river so I'd rather keep going North although Florence would have been a great suggestion.

This low should be moving off, so clearer weather can mean NW winds.
You just suffered thru a long long pressure trough.
I know nothing of NorthernOregon or Washington, so good luck.

Personally I would wait it out. It has been a windy June in the Gorge but this the PNW and we do get rain. But it should be short and the wind should return. If you have been in the gorge for two weeks and haven't planed you need to look at your location choices.... Rolling Eyes

Oh yeah if you go to Canada you can always check out Squamish or Nit Nat...
