Finally a good day after weak winds for what feels like a week. At the Stick (should have risked Crissy judging by the other post) powered up with 5.0, usual VERY nice crowd out

Tuesday ebb also very good at 3rd Ave

The meter made it look like wind was really up and down. Was it pretty solid out past the channel?

Hey Snoop,

3rd Av channel was very solid for me (180#, 5.0m, 84L). Rangy, but strong, good quality Bay Area wind. Had to really pull outhaul when out there, kept it tight never had to re-loosen it. Long session, 5 to near sunset.

Ozzy

Finally sailed after a 3 week hiatus to do some home repairs and Oyster delivered - 4.7/85L with wind from launch to Tigers...sweet.

Ti delivered again, but for unknown reasons yesterday's semi-epic swell did not reappear. Smooth ebb sailing inside late. Local 510 hero Wyatt Miller was in the hizzouse.

About 10 windsurfers visible cruising the 3rd Av channel around 5pm Wednesday. But...the inside became very light, kites were falling from the sky, it looked grim. Our lower launch freestyle star could not get off the beach, his protege did not bother to rig. They packed it in and left. We thank them for their sacrifice, for the wind came back inside. The remaining skeleton crew rigged 5.0s and got out there for a very fine late session! The wind gods can be pleased with tribute!

Natural Bridges today. Tide was high and surf was pretty flat. Oh well. Wind came up nicely though for some 5.0m sailing fun. We managed to entertain ourselves dodging sea grass, kelp, and just generally goofing around out on the water. Nice afternoon.

Arrived at 1 pm one small green patch showing in front of the tree at 221.3
level.
Rigged a 5.3 and stayed on it all afternoon eventually switching from the
Skate110 to the Exo Wave 105 planning 95% of the time . I am glad I have weed fins for both.
There is a build up weeds right under the surface on the Mederos side next to the highway and the water is dead flat even though it's blowing pretty hard there. I was the Lone Ranger on my own personal lake, I thought I saw somebody rigging on the other side but it looks like they never hit the water.

Nice mellow early session (1 to 3) on a 6.0. By 3 it was 5.0 conditions. All around much better than the sensors (or forecast) showed. So what else is new?

Few people out while the whole city is under a carpet of fog: welcome summer!
