Another weekend of hot sunny, but most importantly, windy conditions. Yesterday, 5.5, 3 windsurfers, 5 kiters.

Isabel Sunday

Cold and gloomy when I arrived...waited a bit and then it turned into a classic powered up fog/sun Super Happy Fun Sparkle Session.

Where was everyone? It don't get much better.

3 sailors at Larkspur also, wow, just too crowded.
Powered up 5.2 and 84 FSW, easy to get out from the lower launch, as the breeze filled in. Got a bit holey in the middle by 4 or so, then connected again until it finally died at 5.

Here we go again:

Jul 15, Stick: 5.5 + CA 52. Nicely powered up and no drama. Could have been easily on 6.0-6.6 by end of day.

Jul 18, Crissy: 5.0 + RRD FSW. Nicely powered up with no drama. Fog finally clears for a beautiful end of sailing session.

It must be july? Wind is starting to loose some power Shocked

Not yet Fall! July 19 at Crissy powered up with 4.3. Very choppy until around 4:30 when it gets better with some more regular swell. Absolutely stunning day! Very Happy

Day after a persistent fog line makes me migrate to Coyote (first time in the year). Solid 4.3 outside with some nice swell but quite a lot of chop (it is max flood in the cove when I get out). I must say that it is a bit boring but after a while I get into the "Coyote trance" and I put in a solid two hours.

5 straight days of 4.7 sailing with the new Fanatic freestyle board (bumblebee edition) at Palo Alto. It's been pretty good down here, but I'm spending more time in the water than on top of the board as I'm working on adding a bit of freestyle into my sailing. My freestyle has actually improved somewhat and I'm starting to sail more like Jose Golito... grandfather (that is to say) Embarassed

Where is all that TI wind going?
Another bad day at Berkelely, 5.5 and 100, great until around 3:30 and it just crashed for another skunker. Only got 1/2 hour of planing in, and not solid across to KiteBeach. Geez, it might have taken me close to 1/2 hour to slog back to the 3rd dock from half way up to the gap, when it shut off for me.
