Thanks, yes in higher winds for the sail size I'm definitely in the straps before hooking in. I think I was rigging the sail wrong for the conditions - I had too little downhaul and outhaul- sail has a very large belly behind the mast which is fine for lighter winds. I won't be sailing until next weekend but I appreciate the suggestions. I just purchased a 2011 Ultrasonic so there is no pressure for the windSup to be a light-wind planer. It can be for me the fun all-rounder it was designed to be. |
