when i first saw wx forecasts practically by the hour, i thought, "hubris?" can't tell everyone how many times the wx just does not cooperate with this type of forecasting, and our scheduled lives. micro climates, frontal wobbles, down right ornery wx phenomena, and other factors just don't make thinking of wx as something that fits a spreadsheet very productive, IMHO.
been plenty of times when a squall malingers close by and delivers lots of juice, inexplicably. nothing replaces diligence. have we allowed ourselves to believe in this spreadsheet mentality of "scheduling" the wind? seems so to me. lots of days when i'm the only one that paid attn and got a sesh. _________________ www.aerotechsails.com
