Somebody please post more. Who cares about the flippy stuff? I want to see the fatness of the swell!
Yes, the wind was cold today. It must have dumped snow on the mountain.

The swell was really good however taking photos at Arlington is really unpleasant. Taking photos looking down flattens out the swell and getting down by the water you get your camera really wet. That was some of the funnest swell I ever had in the gorge driving east more often.

I will keep my eyes open at the thrift stores for a somewhat stylish (80s?) full-length snowmobile or ski suit for those cold windy days.

I've used them for many years expressly for that purpose. Buy 'em way oversized so they will very easily slip on and off over full wetsuit, harness, hood, booties, etc., or you will wait until you get cold to put it on. Zippered legs help them slip on and off over booties.
Even simpler is a dive coat such as this

I have one, and love it.

Arlington is by far my favorite place to sail despite the rough water entrance and long drive. The swells are incredible and the wind steady.
