SPID equals multi sport fun!

Agreed! In addition to sports, there is world-class birding both on the island, but even more so as you drive up the Rio Grande Valley. You can see birds there that can't be seen anywhere else this side of the border. For me, early morning birdwatching is the perfect complement to afternoon sailing.

Add world class fishing. Best with a guide. Sea trout and big Red fish.

the opening photo of the Northwave sail, its a 511..? what size , How is it ?

The Goya board reflections and this is a lot of theory, which BS could be substitute //used instead.......
Goya to me and Quatro for that matter make brilliant boards in FSW and Wave, but the freeride area is not one of the strong segments, In my very humble Opinion , freestyle boards as well.
Please don't take this as a effort to stir anything up.. just my thoughts/reflections and experience

back here in the Rockies its ZERO degrees, with a fresh dump of 6--8" of winter H2O

sounds like CC or SPI is going off this year.......have fun

The opening pic sail is a 6.0 Northwave Zx-Se. I like it alot. Seems to handle gusts really well.

We just got back and the trip was a blast! 4 solid days of planeing using 4.4, 5.3, and 6.0 sails.

We had one nuclear day where I was completely overpowered on the 4.4 sail.

Can't wait to go back again! Agreed, that there is plenty to do if the wind is down.

U2U2U2,

Yes we are in Colorado. We go to school at CU-Boulder. Usually the main place we windsurf is Boulder Rez.

Where are you located, and where do you sail in Colorado?

I at times go to CC, Bird Island. 2013 Going to Hatteras for month, probably get a week in Hood River and or Rio Vista, California , had a month in Maine and plan again this year with a short stay on Prince Edward Island, hard life to be retired.
