Great La Ventana day

Unless an El Norte arrives La Ventana is typically a mellow place with 5.2 to 4.7 sailing and huge rolling swell outside created by the 800 mile fetch and 1-2 foot surf on the bars. But yesterday, Jan 31, a big El Norte arrived with average winds in the 15 to 30 knot range with crazy gusts and shifts. The mixture created some great conditions at times. Enjoy the photos.
