I agree with JE. After not sailing much since the end of March last year, this weekend was like coming back from retirement Very Happy Bump-and-jump 4.2 warm-up at Pbay Harbor side on Saturday and 5.2 with some waves today at South Shore. Will be sore for a few days, thanks to the gloves!

Well we did not get much of a wrapping swell at CG Saturday. It was basically micro-waves with over powered 4.2m conditions. It was warm though.
I put together a little video of some of the Hero 3 action that I caught. Used time-lapse mode to get the sunrise Saturday morning. The new camera is so much better than the Hero HD 1 I have.

Back to reality tonight as they are calling for 4-8 inches of snow!!!
It was good while it lasted Sad

Thanks Peter for the Windsurf Loop update.

That was my best session ever for January. No way could I have gone for 4.5 hours though.

Not that anyone gives a rat's a$$, but the Sunday before solo surfing in the fog was another January best yet.

2 in a row, OK HE11 can freeze over for this week.

RC

PS Peter - It might be that my mind is twisted; but I while saying my prayers that night, I honestly believed that my old sled kept pace with you during one brief impromptu drag race!

Evans, I thought that video was entertaining. However, you need to choose a better sound track IMHO. The temps changed so fast that the water that was coming off my roof and into the drainpipes froze solid. Only a couple inches of snow, but I went out and made tracks anywho.

And so my evil plans start to work Twisted Evil. First we get you out in flat water, then pull you into drag races. The next step will be slalom gear and a GPS Very Happy.

But first, you have to learn to keep your board on the water! It's thin and heavy enough, should be easy - but almost every time I looked your way, you were somewhere in the air. Too much sailing with Jerry, maybe? At least you keep your board upright, instead of always flipping over Smile.

I find comfort in that you don't like Jack Johnson. Laughing
Yup the lyrics really don't fit at all.

JACK JOHNSON - DRINK THE WATER LYRICS

Drink the water drink it down
This time I know I'm bound to spit it back up
I didn't want this salty substitute
Just not going to do I need some air
If I'm going to live through this experience
Reminds me of a clock that just won't tick
I want to wake up from this concussion
But my dream is just not done I'm late again
It's just one of those bad days look outside and
Be careful what you ride you just might find
That you're out of time to swim ashore
If I drift long enough, I'll be home
He's got delusions between his ears
Man it takes up too much space
And all that tension between his gears man
He'll never ever leave this place
He's got stones instead of bones and everybody knows
Ah man that can make you real real slow
And if Heaven was below he'd know just where to go
Dive in the ocean and he'd sink like a stone
And he'd say, "It's time to swim ashore
If I drift long enough, I'll be home"
Hold on if you can you're gonna sink faster
Than you can imagine so hold
Now just hold on if you can you're gonna sink faster
Than you can imagine so hold
It's just time to swim ashore
If I drift long enough, I'll be home
