No, the rig is still attached (check this movie at 28 seconds in). I think the board was just getting impatient with me always talking about loops and never trying them, so it did a couple without me to show me how easy it is. Funny that is was the slalom board doing that, though, and not the freestyle board.

i used to be pretty confident that outermost harbor had no sharks in it for a flatwater paddle. maybe not so much now!
