More than 1400 people shot across America during the vegas shooting week. 400 some shot by the Vegas madman alone. Yet the republicans and Trump had nothing to say on the matter other than “we must accept this is a normal part of America”. They have done absolutely nothing! In fact NOT A SINGLE republican will co-sponser a bill banning bump stocks.
But when another crazed madman with a rented Home Depot truck runs over a few people they go absolutely ballistic!

The guy in Vegas was what a "lone wolf" really looks like, probably no affiliation to any terrorist group.
The guy in NYC wasn't, he is a terrorist with affiliation and/or inspiration from terrorists groups. There is no such thing as a "lone wolf" if it's terror inspired.
HUGE DIFFERENCE. It's too bad that you can't see it.
But if it makes you feel better, we should find out what the caliber of that truck was, whether or not it was an automatic, so that changes can be made.
Seriously though, the bump stock will be discontinued I'm sure, eventually, the sooner the better, no reason for them. |
