If you own guns, particularly handguns, you're going to think about them a lot. There's no getting away from it. That also means that there's a higher degree of fear, or the potential for it, in your life. How can that be a good healthy thing?

Just to be clear, I'm not talking about the sport or need for hunting. I'm talking about weapons expressly made for killing people.

So if in the future they are able to take all our guns away like they want to do, imagine all the far over reaching legislation that will follow, imagine all the micro managing of our lives they will force upon us. The abuse of power will make the obama administration look like libertarians.

I suspect they will encounter some rather noisy opposition from some well-armed one-percenters.

A CIA agent claimed on the air that it can not only remotely switch on our cellphones and use them as microphones but also switch on our computer cameras without switching on the camera's indicator light. Hello ... HELLO ... Is this thing on?

Why keep on returning to a fantasy world of fear and confiscation promoted by the NRA and right wing gun nuts? No one is threatening a ban on guns here in the US.

Gun rights are the lynchpin civil right, oh wait, can't say lynch, that's racist. uh, guns are the keystone civil right, without it all our other rights will quickly disappear as in a "living constitution"
