LUV the Laser photo !
I feel windsurfing is more a balance thing rather than Brut strength, so females seem more adapt at coping with the forces , they need too because they , most part, don't have the strength to manhandle (intended) the rig.
They certainly add a sense of grace and beauty .
Some are going to find the wetsuit grunge, the confusing sizes of gear associated with the rig not so much to their liking, nor the fix and repair on gear. Watching my wife hammer a nail is point enough
It great to see anyone on the water having a good time.
SusieQ above is a really strong sailor amongst all.

i,m a lucky guy!been windsurfing for over 3 decades with my wife by my side EVERY SESSION in the gorge,hatteras,oregon coast, or at home on the great lakes.she sup,s when theres no wind kites when there is a little wind with 8,6,or 5 kites then when its WINDY she windsurfs with 3.4,3.0 2.7 on her 64 ltr.quatro and she,s at the tail end of her 5th. decade YOUNG
