Since it's LA, I'm assuming it's a course / FW format ?

Do not assume, MrFish! Since this is the first (ever?) Nationals in L.A., we're determined to make it the biggest & best one ever.
Planning is still in it's infancy, we've only had one meeting so far, but we would like to have course racing, downwind slalom, and maybe even freestyle. There was even talk of a beginner's race, and maybe a one-design class. Nothing is etched in stone, yet.
The above poster shows some of the many other great things L.A. has to offer, so if you want to bring the family along, they won't run out of things to do while you're racing. We'll be working on special deals for racers, for hotels and some of the attractions as well.
Stay tuned to www.2013windsurfingnationals.com for updated details!

Further update from U.S.Windsurfing: There will be a long-distance race, and NeilPryde seems interested in providing Charter Boards for their new one design fleet, the RS One, for the Nationals.
