Not really. It's the truth, and as time passes, it will be more true. Just because the right wants the ACA to be a failure, that doesn't make it true. There's no going back now. |

A "projection" refers to a promise, a prediction, an expectation, an intent, etc. made in the belief that it's accurate and achievable. In this case, however, the administration was sternly warned by government agencies and insurance corporations, with reams of proof, on the public record, before those lies were proclaimed from the pulpit 28 times, that the ACA would directly result in the loss of 50M to >100M -- 90M was the round number pressed upon the administration -- people with health insurance coverage in late 2014. Obama's advisers pleaded with him to tell the truth/stop the lie, but he refused. He kept on repeating them until the last holdout voted for the ACA. Since the facts of those lies emerged, his most staunch, blindest, lifelong supporters from Congress to the media have ripped him a new one for those lies ... as THEY put it. What does the Liar In Chief have to say now that even the Far Left media and lifelong Democrat Party leaders caught him lying and are calling him a liar?
He tries to blame it on someone else.
He does not give any more of a damn about getting caught on the record lying than do most of the people on my killfile. |

There is no truth yet. |

You just go ahead and continuing on banking on "hope", be my guest.
There is still no truth yet. |

To a talk radio conservative there will never be any truth during an Obama administration. Events in the real world will not make any difference whatsoever. |

NW30,
I'm afraid that you misunderstood my comments. When I talked about truth, my point was that the fiction coming from the right would prove to be just that, fiction. The ACA may not be perfect, but it's here to stay. Even if the Republicans win the Senate, they won't be able to overcome a presidential veto. |

SWC, I don't think conservatives want the ACA to fail. I am all to happy to let people pay for what they get. However, there is so much pork in this law, combined with regulation, extravagance, and cronyism, that we believe it will fail under it's own weight, and that will be bad for all of us.
Secondly, you have to admit there are a lot of nervous Democrats because of the ACA. This could go so poorly that there could conceivably be a veto proof majority some day. |

If Republicans don't want the ACA to fail, why have they been relentless in their efforts to kill it in every way they could dream up? It's not over yet, as the majority of Republican candidates will be running on the repeal of the ACA in the November elections.
With regard to your following statement:
"... there so much pork in this law, combined with regulation, extravagance, and cronyism, that we believe it will fail under it's own weight, and that will be bad for all of us."
I fail to understand what you're talking about. Frankly, I believe that it's nothing but contrived nonsense fabricated to send a negative message. Where's all the details and facts? |

Which, of course, clearly and accurately explains why the republican-led House of Representatives has voted 50 times to repeal the ACA. (A marvelous and efficient use of taxpayer resources, I might add.)
Isn't it time to recycle Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi?
Or maybe Obama's Kenyan birth certificate?
Or his Muslim affiliations?
