Agreed about the attitude. The proper grateful dead sticker was the first custom touch we made. Then the racks.

No plans on frying the engine. From what I've read, they warn you.

Except for the wheels and hubcaps, that Nova looks very original in concept, and it's a desirable 2 door coupe. Does it have the 350 V8 with a 4 speed?

One more thing about the Vanagon. Only use VW's recommended coolant. That's area where nothing else will do if it's a keeper.

They say phosphate free coolant is whats needed...it won't irritate the water seals.

The Nova's bone stock...except the hubcaps. Six cylinder with a powerglide auto, power brakes and steering. The pre 66's had 195 ci sixes. The factory never put V8s in any chevyII models before then. Not even the SS models. What made the SS an SS was trim, bucket seats and a floor shifter. That's it. You could get a V8 "dealer option" that was installed after you bought the car, along with positraction rear ends and beefed up suspension. These cars are rare and very desirable now. This ones really nice, but I need to pare down the fleet.

Maybe I'll keep it....

Circa 1983. I loved this wagon. 1969 510. Amazing that all that heavy crap on the roof didn't yank the driprails off.

Damnation. For 11 mpg, I've always had my heart set on a cherry El Camino. But what are you asking for the Nova? Can't see why you'd ever part with her, though.

Gman- OE six-pack? Was there ever such a thing? Maybe you're thinking of Mickey's?
