What a coincidence--this past weekend I was cleaning and rediscovered a Neil Pryde bag I'd won as a door prize at one of the KOTC or Freestyle Frenzy events, and now I'm using it as my gym bag. good memories! These events were a big part of why I got motivated to learn my first freestyle maneuver, which was sailing backwinded, and then constantly trying to learn more ever since. Freestyle changed windsurfing for me and it meant this is a sport that will never get old for me. I have since moved away but I visit the cape at least once year. I'd plan my visit around a freestyle or wave event if there was one, but it's understandable that the weather is hard to plan stuff around.
