Does anyone have any tips for landing doubles that is actually hitting them? I can hit forwards with consistency but am interested to hear how the double is different. I assume that 4.2 spot with head high waves would be ideal. Any suggestions are appreciated. |

Pull harder.
(Note: Not actually hitting doubles, or singles for that matter.)
Yeah, 4.2 is going to make it easier. And, like the regular forward, it's not always about a huge (high) jump. Distance, loft, speed.
And oh, yeah.
Pull harder. _________________ __________________________________________

As with most things flipping, you don't need to go very much higher, but you will need to rotate alot faster. So, rotation is the key, which is why Josh is saying "pull harder", which is correct. You'll also have to jump really really downwind.
Unless you're a former diver or gymnast, or your parents raised you in the circus you probably haven't done alot of double front flips. Find a swimming pool with a diving board and fling yourself at a couple to practice your air-sense so's you don't get lost the first time you try a double loop. Don't use trampoline: you'll end up in the hospital.
Before you go for it:
1. wear a helmet
2. get health insurance
Good luck! _________________ Kansas City |
