Def on the top spot hit list....
I'm thinking with the newer track the the tip of Sandy Hook would be a perfect venue....There's a scary old fort there, and you have NYC as a backdrop.....Sailed it once in a ESE and it was very good.
Lets face it....there's only going to be a very small window on the front side....I've always had better luck on the back side of things like this (Clearing winds and all that)

Storm Prep – Cape Cod Style
I sincerely hope that no more get injured or worse.
While giving my little Honda generator a warm-up session today, a little test rigging occurred.
After of years of sailing on what I call the standard 3, a 6-5-4 quiver, a few years ago I went to a 4.2. If that was too much, out came a historic NP 4.0 MPR. Even though it’s old it still worked fine; a little as a couple of weeks ago.
Well thanks to the boys at Isthmus, I’m now the proud owner of a used Ezzy 3.7. It arrived just in time for the price of $250. Other than a couple picoscopic residue marks from fresh water droplets, it looks off the shelf perfect.
Speaking of thanks, may I add that Gerda’s Bruce generously offed me to sail his pretty new JP 98l Freeride or something like that. The board was given to him by some other generous sailor now turned kiter. It was my first time riding something made in this century and over 85l. I loved its light weight and had a tough time giving it up. But as soon as it got to be a handful, I got right back on my old 1991 sled and continued to have a ball!
