That's OK; Cascades and OOs are very similar in virtually every performance factor, with the looks nod clearly going to OO.

The cascade was newer, and had corresponding newer straps and the tailkick pad that I like (working on how to make one for the OO), but it was very hard to commit to a board that looked (and probably sailed) the same as the pile of $35 cascades always sitting at the swap meet. Since it was a birthday present, ill have to keep it forever Laughing

Here's the easiest way I've found:

Second Wind carries a wide variety of them, some pictured at
http://tinyurl.com/8mgpnwn .
Just trim the tailkick block to fit your deck pad*, peel and stick, seal the edges with a fine bead of clear caulk, and enjoy.

* I include enough of the pad in front of the wedge to add a layer beneath my back heels for extra deck and heel protection.

I saw those, a bit pricey for me. Im going to find some foam and make a wedge.

Yeah ... I pretty much cleaned them out of the half-price pile last year.

Buy a strip of wedge material from NSI in HR, cut it to fit, lift the aft edge of your existing rear pad (with a razor scraper) just enough to slip the wedge in there, glue it in with Barge cement, and ... violins ... OEM-look tailkicks.

Notice the wedge's rear angles are not the same; place the more acute angle down against the deck, the less acute angle up against the pad. This reduces the possibility of snagging the wedge on anything.
