now we are getting somewhere lets get right wing hack Gowdys emails... the guy is not even asking for damages, just to be made whole... with how much americans hate right wing congress, well this case if heard by a jury of the peers is going to be tough for Goudy the prosecutor to get out of. what, is congress in the single digits for approval?

Ex-Benghazi Investigator Sues Trey Gowdy for Defamation
http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/ex-benghazi-investigator-sues-trey-gowdy-defamation-n468171

Quote:
A former investigator for the House Benghazi Committee filed a federal lawsuit against the committee Monday, opening a new chapter in legal skirmishes over the Benghazi attacks and subsequent investigations.

Last month, Brad Podliska, an Air Force Reserve major, alleged the Benghazi committee terminated him based on his military obligations and his refusal to advance an agenda targeting Hillary Clinton. Now, Podliska is detailing those charges in court in a new filing that alleges Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy broke the law by defaming him in their public battle over Podliska's firing.

Gowdy previously said Podliska was terminated partly for mishandling classified information.

The suit cites Gowdy's claim from a press release and an interview with NBC News, and argues it was a damaging line of attack, since allegations of such a "serious crime" have "ended the careers of many professionals in national security-related industries."

But the charge was totally false, the suit says, because the information Podliska handled was drawn entirely from "sources from the Internet." Podliska adds that the committee staffer who made the allegation later admitted the material "was not classified." The committee has not withdrawn the allegation.

Suing Gowdy for defamation reflects a confrontational legal strategy, as Podliska is moving beyond the details of his termination - a largely staff-level issue - to directly impugning Gowdy's conduct afterward. It also means that Monday's filing goes further than expected, not only suing the Committee, but naming Gowdy as an individual defendant.

The filing emphasizes Podliska is not seeking money for the defamation claim. Instead, he is calling for a statement establishing that Gowdy's allegation was false, and asking the Court to bar Gowdy from repeating it.

so who is lying the CIA or the contractors?

Former CIA chief in Benghazi challenges the story line of the new movie ‘13 Hours’

Quote:
It is the most fateful moment in a movie that purports to present a searingly accurate account of the 2012 attacks that left four Americans dead in Benghazi, Libya: a scene in which the highest-ranking CIA operative at a secret agency compound orders his security team to “stand down” rather than rush off to rescue U.S. diplomats under siege less than a mile away.

According to the officer in charge of the CIA’s Benghazi base that night, the scene in the movie is entirely untrue.

You might wonder why the contractors (the guys that went to help) would lie? Little comes to mind.

However, if the station chief/CIA is lying, it might well be to cover his ass or whoever gave him the order to stand down.

I think I will believe the guys who went to fight.

Our local newspaper movie reviewer (a regular on Rotten Tomatoes) said 13 Hours reveals the "mostly unpublicized story" about the Benghazi battle. Here's the first draft of my email to him:
"You need to watch some news ... ANY news. The entire Benghazi event has been discussed, debated, analyzed, criticized, investigated by Congress, for hundreds of hours on many networks. Surviving combatants of the battle have been interviewed for dozens of hours. The Sec of State has been publicly grilled. We've seen endless recitations of the event from its real time unfolding years ago to still another rehash on my TV screen as I type this. MANT of the events and statements depicted in this quite factual movie were described verbatim MANY time in live interviews over the last three years. The men who were right there in that battle and the parents who were lied to on the tarmac have stated countless times that this movie presents a very accurate depiction of those and many more events.

Moreover, this entire disgusting fiasco is extremely important to the nation and thus to the world because it manifests the incompetence, the deliberate and total dearth of veracity, the political cowardice, the gross politicization, and the endless staged lying to the world from the very pinnacles of this administration, with emphasis on the thousands of irrefutably criminal acts the Sec State has admitted committing to conceal her even worse malfeasance in this and other acts of her time in office.

Get educated, Gary, or stop waxing political."

When a spook who was a lead figure in that battle and movie starts crying and cannot speak due to his emotions years after the event, I'm convinced he's not lying.

There are rodents in this group who clearly hate our military at every level from this disgusting forum to the entire Dept of Defense. Most of them would never have been born if it weren't for the people they so freely denigrate.

No surprise there; the (left wing McClatchey) newspaper's website provides no email addresses. "No surprise", because it prints very few conservative or neutral points of view in any section from the front page to the op-ed letters. Even hard news releases from the world's major news agencies are deceptively headlined to deceive readers scanning the front page, and the nationally syndicated opinion pieces it selects are invariably far left screeds. No balance is allowed.

No wonder today's college kids think Bernie Sanders would do anything but destroy this nation.

The right keeps feebly looking for someone to blame and crucify for what happened in Benghazi. You have to wonder when it will ever end?

Can you imagine the editor of McClatchy's TriCities publication reading a copy of isobars' hateful diatribe and taking it seriously? The only rightful place for it is the closest trash can.
