Anyone in here? Hello?

Nothing to discuss. Rethugs have scattered after beatdown, as did I in 2004. Dems are not in confrontational mood, why be ? we won!

Last week we watched DNI Clapper's lips move as he claimed under oath that he did not know who changed the CIA's talking points given to Susan Rice as Obama sent her on her way to five Sunday TV talk shows after Benghazi. Now Clapper admits he was the one who changed the talking points.

Is anyone in this administration even capable of telling the truth? Bill Clinton was impeached for perjury over a much less important issue.

mac, he was not sleeping, he was busy making a bunch new friends on the East Coast forum, they seem to love him there too. Of course, none of this is his fault, he was just trying to put some sense in their battered heads...

You don't sail here, so what are you doing on an East Coast forum?
Must be quite appealing to have a disaster thread that ends up focused on you. Really..... that's kind of warped.

Let me rephrase,
you are a BIG DICK

If a thread is started on this forum and mike fick doesn't pipe in with at least a fifty word spiel about all he knows, is it really a thread?

Be fun to see the responses if they hated him... Wink

What a shock--he went off half-cocked and nasty. First time that has happened.

I realize the F and D keys are adjacent, but I'm guessing that wasn't a typo, so that's FICK to you. Wink

Geez, Mikey, on my keyboard, the I and U keys are adjacent... and probably on yours, too.

So, I'm guessing that you hit the "I" key by mistake and inadvertently inserted "to" in your message.

That was probably caused by the folks on this post ignoring him.
There is no pain greater for a person with an inferiority complex.
Or for a person who is not imagining their inferiority having that confirmed by normal people who stare through you.

isobars has a real knack for getting in trouble with folks, and that's not just here on the political side of the forum. But throughout it all, he actually thinks that he's the good guy and not the absolute jerk that he continually proves that he is. isobars is incorrigible and totally self absorbed. In his world, he is never wrong. It's always the other guy that is the problem.

Meanwhile, here is a posting I got from the New Jersey windsurfing guys, who organized to preserve access:

Quote:
Watersports Enthusiasts:
We cannot get into Sandy Hook yet, they must ensure it's safe for volunteers to enter. The volunteer coordinator will reach out to us (and all who have contacted him) when they are ready.

As you know Sea Bright is just south of Sandy Hook - not a "launch spot" for us, but badly hit. Union Beach (also not a launch) is a wreck with collapsed houses. They need a lot of help.

Immediate "Hands-On" Volunteer Opportunities:

Sea Bright, NJ:
Sunday, November 25th - 9:30 AM
Volunteer Coordinator Gill needs 30 people this Sunday, 11/25 at 9:30 am to move the tables and food set up - where they have been providing food all day to volunteers and those in need - from the firehouse to the tents outside, as well as help clean up the Firehouse. After this task is complete, there is still much to do in Sea Bright from interior demolition (ripping out drywall) to picking up trash on the street (from people removing contents from their homes).

Meet at Sea Bright Borough Hall for signing in and assignments, trash bags and face masks provided. For demo work: wear work gloves, boots and weather appropriate attire.

Contact: Gill - GilCCS@aol.com

FYI: Volunteers and those in need (actually EVERYONE!) can be fed a hot lunch all day at the Sea Bright Firehouse location.

Union Beach, NJ:
Cole Porter is focusing his clean up on the homes of First Reponders: Fire-fighters and EMS whose houses have collapsed/are in need of serious help. Cole is looking for large groups of volunteers - anywhere from 50-60 people to needed for gutting homes, clearing major debris from yards and hauling to the curb. Also needs mid-week help doing the same (as it's only a few people helping him during the week).

This same group will be creating a Union Beach Gift Drive (people will be able to come and take what they need) from December 9th - 23rd. They will be looking for people to man this at the Borough Hall (obviously this is for someone relatively local).
Contact: Can coordinate a group through NJWWA for demo work or direct contact with Cole Porter cell: 732-245-6078

National Park Service - Sandy Hook
The NPS is working hard to clean up Sandy Hook (including our beloved bayside beach and parking lot C, Chokecherry). They must ensure it is safe for volunteers to enter. At last contact I was told that the first priority is the employee residences at Sandy Hook.

Check out their Facebook Page for updates on progress:

NPS Volunteer Coordinator: Keith White keith_white@nps.gov or office: 718-354-4657

Physical Donations:
This request has been sent from our school system:

There is dire need for NEW packaged underwear for ADULT men and women (particularly larger sizes). If you can help, please drop off your donation this week at Forrestdale School, Rumson and we will bring the items to Sea Bright Boro hall for distribution. Also, warm ADULT pajamas, bathrobes and slippers are needed.

This is all we have for now. We'd be happy to coordinate especially the crew for the Sea Bright, Sunday AM. Gil has asked if we might have a crew...told him we'd give it our best shot and let him know ASAP. Also coordinating with local athlete club.
Thanks to all,
NJWWA Board

It's nice to know that the sane windsurfers believe that we are in this thing together.
