The next time you're thinking sailingjoe etc is harmless, consider the depths he'll go to get attention. In this thread:
http://www.iwindsurf.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25226
he signed off with Arbeit macht frei, which is vintage nazi concentration camp (google it).

As soon as I posted a protest to his crap, he took down the German postscript...he is trolling in this forum- an arrogant putz with nothing of value to contribute. Can we have him banned by majority vote? |

Did he really intend that phrase in the Nazi sense, or was he simply unwittingly showing a lack of sensitivity by using it as a catchy sign off? His removal of it and silence on the matter suggests perhaps the latter.
Would a simple apology to forum members, should he be sensible enough to make one, help to defuse the issue? |

Given the catalog of his statements here, including comments about 'homos' etc, he exhibits a consistent attitude of superiority and disdain towards most participants in this forum.
I suspect he put the phrase up thinking it was quite clever- figuring us idiots wouldn't have a clue about it's origin, knowing full well how inflamatory it would be if we could only figure it out.
If you read his posts he seldom offers solid advice or information. Usually it's disparaging remarks or self indulgent drivel about his wonderful life.
Better than any apology would be his absence. Life is too short for this crap, but I couldn't in good conscience ignore it. |

It's probably good to remember that we choose to see someone as a problem, and responding to them we in a sense give them life and purpose. That's not to say that certain folks aren't untenable pests. Often ignoring them is the best avenue overall, but that takes control in holding back our thoughts and feelings. |

Hmmmm...The phrase means "Work sets you free." Hardly a phrase that will convince lots of people to turn to the Nazi party and become brown shirts.
Let Brucy say what he will. The rest of you do.
