For all those sailors tired of the hassles that the amenities of Crissy present and are seeking something more post-apocalyptic, TI is now available 3 days/week.

We secured access from the Navy and the contractors. Similar to last year, 4:00 p.m. on Fridays through Sunday, parking and access on Avenue I to the boat ramp. Should start this Friday, April 8, 2016.

Fair winds,
Ross

Thank you so much for the effort but ... the traffic on the bridge from the city is even more absurd than last year (if that were possible) thanks to our 1930's infrastructure.

For me it is unfortunately going to be Crissy and its choppy choppy choppy little swell Shocked (or maybe camp there overnight? There might be some radioactive creature from the deep going around after dusk but it might be worth it.)

Ross,

Were you able to get any sort of estimate on when they will be completing their construction work over there? I drove by the launch a few months ago and it looked like they were far from completing the work.

Rig- No estimate. Unfortunately, your statement that they were "far from completing the work," is generous.

Yeah, my sense is that they'll be at it all season. I am still hopeful that when the work is completed, we could be left with a fairly nice place to rig and launch.
