As a related aside, how did that customized fin/base unit work out for your longboard in Maine?

it fit almost perfect, just round the edges, and drill 2 holes, I had not sailed this for 3--5 years, and it is a hoot to sail, my 8yo neighbor went with me and she is amazing, she will learn next year to sail for herself .

You're right, I did miss it. The outcome looks great, complete with a custom graphic design on the fin. That really does personalize the project with a bit of original style. I've always liked the fact that all of your board/fin projects incorporate a bit of artistic flair.

Thanks so much for the suggestions, Larson s did indeed have something for me, I just need to made it small to fit a tri fin conversion now.
