Headed to Hatteras later this week/weekend.
Need a wave stop on the way.
I sailed Strathmore/mere a few years back in I think a NE wind. Is it still happening there, and does it work in N or NE or what....any local tips appreciated....(Otherwise will have to grovel surf from the Rhodies).

NJ then NC?
Good riddance you interloping, carpet bagging, wave hog!
Just kid’n, just kid’n
I’ll actually miss having likeminded individuals around at our little break. My lack of tourniquet applying skills could surely use a backup in the event of a close encounter.
If the truth be known, any bonafide named storm swell would probably relegate me to spectator status anyway.

PS – Did you see that the swimming ban was lifted at Nauset? They probably said fvck-it, no one is around to enforce the policy anyway. No lifeguards at CG either

Guess you will be a spectator for next week or so......get on it....it's not going DOH or nothing.....don't look back 10 years from now and wonder. try higher tides for softer, and an easier get out.
Leashes ruined surfing......but they make good torniquets if you need em
