Nope, not what I was concluding at all. What I was stating with that quote is that your resentment is not healthy for you. Your hell-bent approach of trying to attach some convoluted assumptions about what I or others think, feel, or believe is providing some interesting insight and affirmations about your approach though.

It's interesting that you have labels to attach to everyone.

oh you had me falling off my chair laughing this morning with your so called enlightened conclusion. hahahahahaha... do you realize you are dishing out so called psychological advice off a quote from Mandala about how to deal with people that have tortured you and put you in jail for protesting a human right.

That was about the most ignorant cause and effect conclusion I have ever seen. I watch a 7 YO that comes up with better cause and effect logic than you.

With your so called new resentment quack science, what do you think of societies putting in jail criminals? How about Hitler and his cronies, and war crime tribunals. My gosh those are just forever chasing down Nazi war crime individuals.

So you with your anti-resentment ideology would be in favor of not having no statue of limitations for murders with your quack science. See in the USA the ultra partisan right wing are very similar to the Taliban, they would like public executions and eye for an eye justice.. Is that how you are? The US right wing ultra haters would like to cut off the hand of someone stealing, is that how you are. They would like public humiliation for crimes. Well except for their own crimes. Do you know in the USA the biggest crimes that are the most damaging to the USA are done by ultra partisan party of the right wing and they get slaps in the hand or nothing.

For instance abramoff for political crimes estimated in the 70-100 million range with no liberal coming to a fraction of his crimes spent less time in jail than people of lessor crimes. Defense contractors well they have been convicted so many times of stealing tax payers money in the levels of 10s and 100s of million to billions and nothing happens to them. these crimes get less media play than a white water investigation when the first right wing special prosecutor determined there was no wrong doing.

thanks for the laugh about your post this morning.

how are you about torture?

Yup, that's me, ultra right wing. You've got it all figured out. Nice try i particularly like the insinuation I condone all these things with your outlandish conclusions. You really do come off as a very peaceful person and it helps drive home your message.

can't answer the well positioned questions/points to the stupid point you tried to make. so what does a troll do.... whine whine and cry.... typical trolling post...

Hey when there are trolls sometimes you just have to dish it to them and show their destructive discourse and crying game. I have done this very well to each troll so far. You are identicle to the tea party mentality that is in the USA, they are not interested in dialog. It is there way or highway. But here I get to answer your trolling. Because in the media we may not have freedom of the press but on a board here we expose your crying game over and over. You just do not have the facts or logic on your side you you go "McVeigh" the thread.

One thing you have definitely confirmed for me is just how happy I am to live in Canada. A bit of advice, if you ever visit here you might want to tone it down a bit.

Deep breath in and slow out through the nostrils. It's going to be OK.

really, what would a troll like you do to me.

Been to Canada several times for business. also down here in baja there is a huge Canadian population percentage-wise vs what your total population is(seems to be a bit colder in Canada in the winter overall so more head south). It seems my best friends are Candians, but they are not like you at all.

I'd probably do this Rolling Eyes
But only if I wasn't busy pistol whipping babies, decapitating kittens, cutting holes in my white sheets or shaving my skinhead.

RR--you seem a little obsessed by baja, and a little in the dark about the use of propaganda by the right wing in the United States. There are numerous scholarly articles about the effectiveness of the Nazi propaganda machine, but as this source notes http://www.psychologyandsociety.org/__assets/__original/2011/04/2Kohl_2011_.pdf, much of the success of Nazi propaganda rested on the foundation of creating "fear towards other. Furthermore, these strategies encouraged a non-human view of other"

Depicting Obama as "other" has been part of right wing propaganda from the McCain campaign on. He has been depicted as a not serious person, a "community organizer." He has been depicted as a fellow traveler with radicals and radical preachers. He has been depicted as un-American by "birthers", and as a socialist and a fascist by people who clearly don't understand, or care about his political views, which are pretty much those of an Eisenhower Republican.

Most recently he has been depicted as a "the biggest liar in presidential history" for his spin on keeping your insurance under the ACA, despite a section of the Act intended to do just that. The active lies of Reagan in selling arms to the Contras--and covering it up; Nixon in covering up Watergate; and Bush and Cheney on multiple subjects in the run-up to the Iraq invasion are conveniently ignored--because, of course, they were not "others."

If you watched McCain speaking to his supporters after he conceded, you would have clearly seen and understood how deeply this view is held by the right in this country. And used by the propaganda machine that hides its donors.

Certainly not all who dislike Obama hate him, and clearly not all who dislike Obama are bigots. But the propaganda machine, which includes talk radio and Fox news as driving pistons, it fundamentally built on creating and stoking fears of Obama that are independent of policy.

You have--once--commented that Obama has done a decent job in view of the difficulties of politics. A viewpoint I can share without having ever thought he was the savior that the right wing belittles. But to have a truly open mind, and perceived as balanced, perhaps you need to be more critical of the language choices of the right, as well as Baja, and understand the use of the "other" in fear-mongering by the media.

mac, you've certainly summarized the right's hateful view of President Obama very well. It's pretty hard deny that its been going on feverishly over Obama's entire presidency on so many different fronts. Sadly, we see it here from our Republican friends in their commentary.

Now, regarding the tiff between bajaDean and reinerehlers, there's little doubt that bajaDean is adamantly dedicated to putting the spotlight on the right's manipulation of the media. Moreover, I think that we're all aware that he is very consumed in his task, to the point that he might be considered too dedicated and very obsessed about it. That said, I think that reinerehlers role in this thread has been a bit too personal in his criticism of bajaDean. Maybe he's hoping to stem bajaDean's enthusiasm. Try as he might, that's not going to happen. The way that I see it, reinerehlers is a bit consumed too. His efforts to knock folks here off their pedestals has been apparent since his arrival. In doing that, he reveals more about himself. The darker side of his personality. I remember what he said on the isobars interview thread about the political side of the iWindsurf forum. If he had it his way, this part of the forum would disappear.

Lastly, to be fair, I guess that a number of criticisms could be thrown my way. I have to admit that I've been quite critical of the right and their positions, and particularly, isobars.

another very good example to show CBS and media bias of the right wing.

Dan Rather and Maples told the truth and were removed by the right wing and a investigation was held by Bush's fathers attorney general where he could not conclude the information was not accurate. ya a billion to one probability will do that. Anyway there was an uproar and a investigation by a partisan team.

Well note 60 minutes and it Bengazi story were proved to be fabrications and there is no investigation of CBS or firing of CBS producers. and aonly a 90 second retraction buried on page 120.

whereas Maples life was destroyed and Dan was removed. Fr telling the truth. Again never proved the information was not accurate and even the Bush 1 attorney general. And this agreed on investigator asked the whitehousre to answer some basic questions and the whitehouse would not respond to say the documents were not accurate. That tells the story by itself.

now where is that media demanding the firing of all those involved at CBS and how such a story was allowed.

I do not know how many of you have ever heard Michael Savages radio show, the savage nation.

from wiki

Quote:
Michael Savage (born Michael Alan Weiner; March 31, 1942) is an American radio host, author and political commentator. He is the host of The Savage Nation, a nationally syndicated talk show that aired on Talk Radio Network across the United States. By 2009 The Savage Nation had an audience of 8 to 10 million listeners on 400 stations across the United States, making it the second most listened-to radio talk show in the country at the time

I have heard him many times and his name calling and hate radio.

Quote:
Savage has summarized his political philosophy in three words: borders, language, and culture. Savage has characterized his views as conservative nationalism,[10] while critics have characterized them as "fostering extremism or hatred."[11] He opposes illegal immigration to the United States, supports the English-only movement and argues that liberalism and progressivism are degrading American culture.

Here is a great one... He can not even go to the UK because they have deemed his hate talk dangerous.

Quote:
Since 2009, Savage has been barred from entering the United Kingdom, for allegedly "seeking to provoke others to serious criminal acts and fostering hatred".

again a very highly respected nation has ruled that a right wing media personality is a hate broadcaster such that they took an extreme step of banning him from even setting foot in their nation. And some naive person on this forum has a hard time figuring out what hate is and if hate is eating up the right wingers. He believe that these hate broadcasters and their followers are somehow to be admired and left with their lies.

I challenge you right wingers to find any liberal media person in the USA ever banned from the UK for their art.

Here listen to a top rated right winger on the radio
