please back up that claim as most political reporters are not allowed to make political donations.

How about backing up your claim that "political reporters are not allowed to make political donations"?
I know of no law in that regard.
And don't try 'ethics', that went out the window long ago. |

It took less than one minute away from my more important research to find and post this. If all these stupid threads could be decided this easily, I'd have time to clean up this liberal cesspool.
"In all, people identified in federal campaign finance filings as journalists, reporters, news editors or television news anchors — as well as other donors known to be working in journalism — have combined to give more than $396,000 to the presidential campaigns of Clinton and Trump, according to a Center for Public Integrity analysis.
Nearly all of that money — more than 96 percent — has benefited Clinton: About 430 people who work in journalism have, through August, combined to give about $382,000 to the Democratic nominee, the Center for Public Integrity’s analysis indicates."

Daaaaa includes food critics as writers to donate to Clinton. I forgot how biassed and influential the food critics are.
But you can not show one political writer who is involved in the actual election covering clinton donating... writing,,,
Quote: | Wash. Post: CPI’s Numbers “Don’t Tell The Whole Story” And Don’t “Prove Widespread Bias.” Washington Post reporter Callum Borchers explained that the numbers in CPI’s report “don’t tell the whole story,” because they don’t include “the journalists who shape coverage of the race for the White House” and that “there are no campaign trail reporters on the list of Clinton contributors named” in the report. Borchers noted that the donors included in the report are “TV and food critics, sports and fashion editors, and local news reporters,” and concluded that the report “does not prove widespread bias in coverage of the presidential race.” From the October 17 article: |

Quote: | Today, MSNBC suspended Keith Olbermann indefinitely for violating NBC News' policy and standards. As Politico first noted, Olbermann donated $2,400 apiece to three Democrats and "NBC has a rule against employees contributing to political campaigns."
While NBC News has a policy prohibiting employees from contributing to political campaigns, its cable news competitor Fox News apparently does not. Indeed, Fox News hosts such as Neil Cavuto, Sean Hannity, and Mike Huckabee have donated to political campaigns and organizations, and a Fox News executive previously said he would not prohibit the practice.
During the 2009-2010 election cycle, more than 30 Fox Newsers have endorsed, raised money, or campaigned for Republican candidates or organizations in more than 600 instances. |

read the post above your post, it appears only fox politcal reporters are the ones donating in political issues as a standard. MSNBC even suspends you, if you are on a political news beat if you do.
again the ones reported were by majority not the political, they were sports and food reviewers. Exception Fox reporters are allowed. Hey Fox een supports rapists giving them 80 million to go rape our society even more.
The big issue is you thinking is an oxymoron, but moron more so. _________________ when good people stay silent the right wing are the only ones heard. |

troll post, posted the reports of who actually donated the money but you did not care. It was not the political reporters except possible as noted at Fox.
Next you the moron does does not even like charlie chaplin... he hit it out of the park about you and your kind...
hey here is a little backing to charlies clip I cited. how timely...
Quote: | BERLIN — When a video of two Donald Trump supporters shouting “Lügenpresse” (lying press) started to circulate Sunday, viewers from Germany soon noted its explosive nature. The defamatory word was most frequently used in Nazi Germany. Today, it is a common slogan among those branded as representing the “ugly Germany”: members of xenophobic, right-wing groups.
Its use across the Atlantic Ocean at a Trump rally has worried Germans who know about its origins all too well. Both the Nazi regime and the East German government made use of it, turning it into an anti-democracy slogan. |
