here is what I also found offensive, and in my book if Romney does not even know his own plans he should be known as a bold faced liar. why the media did not go after the liar is only because it is right wing run media.

from the Dem chair
Quote:
At the debate, Mitt Romney looked the American public in the eye and said: "I do have a plan that deals with people with pre-existing conditions. That's part of my health care plan."

His campaign quietly admitted afterwards that, no, it is not, in fact, a part of his health care plan.

As a breast cancer survivor and someone living with a pre-existing condition, this statement was more personally offensive than any of his repeated promises to repeal Obamacare. This kind of say-anything dishonesty is typical from Mitt Romney and the Republicans.

Six bucks a gallon, and no ones blaming barry, strange how it was all Bushes fault before, but the lazy stoner gets a free pass.

this is so obvious.... I would hope most people are smart enough to know this one....

Hmm are those right wing richest most profitable companies the oil companies right wing or left wing. Dems have no say with right wing corporations unless they have a super majority in every branch of the government. They only answer to the right wing.

and citizens united is living proof of corporations can buy even the supreme court idiots. again Citizens united was brought to the court by the right wing, argued for it by the right wing and the 5 right wing supreme idiots made it the ruling with not a dem supporting the right wing corporate madness.

again we need a new supreme court justice to balance the madness, we need a veto proof senate and a congress for the people. Things were great in the past years when the dems controlled the congress was it 40 to 50 years. once the obstructionist right wing religious fanatics took over the corporations destroyed the unions and middle class. look at how the rich have got so much richer and the right wing are saying they are victims... they went from 90 Plus percent tax in the 50s and 60s under dems to now 15%. Where is that liberal media pointing the decline in taxes from 90 percent.... If I owned the media it would be front and center....

Matty, are you so ignorant that you think the prez has a big knob on the Oval Office wall that controls gas prices... and you think Obama turned the knob to force prices up?

And you think he'd do that right before the election? Really?

(Yes, maybe you are that ignorant.)

The mother of an American killed in last month's Libya consulate attack has said his death has been used by the Romney campaign for political purposes.

The Republican presidential nominee has been citing his meeting some years ago with US Navy Seal Glen Doherty.
.

why isn't the so called liberal media all over this..... for Romney's "warm recollections" of meeting Glen Doherty. if I owned the media this would be the front page....

Friends of Doherty have spoken publicly about his encounter with Mr Romney at a Christmas party.

His friend, Elf Ellefsen, told a Seattle radio station: "He said it was very comical. Mitt Romney approached him ultimately four times, using this private gathering as a political venture to further his image.

"He kept introducing himself as Mitt Romney, a political figure. The same introduction, the same opening line. Glen believed it to be very insincere and stale," Mr Ellefsen added

About That 7.8% Jobs Report…Updated: Jobless claims dropped because BLS omitted California
posted at 8:58 am on October 14, 2012 by Matt Vespa

"UPDATE: Last Thursday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released another report detailing that jobless claims have dropped to a four year low. According to The Associated Press, “the Labor Department said weekly applications fell by 30,000 to the lowest level since February 2008. The four-week average, a less volatile measure, dropped by 11,500 to 364,000, a six-month low.Applications are a proxy for layoffs. When they consistently drop below 375,000, it suggests that hiring is strong enough to lower the unemployment rate. A Labor Department spokesman cautioned that the weekly applications can be volatile, particularly at the start of a quarter. And the spokesman said one large state accounted for much of the decline. The spokesman did not name the state.”

Besides the fact that most of the net new jobs created last month were part-time jobs, which isn’t a realistic gauge in measuring our recovery, the reason for the massive drop in jobless claims is because the BLS forgot to include California in their report. Henry Blodget at Business Insider reported that he “spoke to an analyst at the Labor Department. According to this analyst, here’s what happened: ALL STATES WERE INCLUDED in this week’s jobless claims. Assertions that “a large state” was excluded from the report are patently false.”

Yet, he wrote "It is likely that some of the jobless claims in one large state–California–were not included in the claims reported to the Department of Labor this week ..." "

BTW, CA's latest jobless rate is 12.1%.

The rest is at http://tinyurl.com/94j362a ; draw your own conclusions.

this one is just too much.. it is amazing how the so called liberal media is not all over this one. If I owned it it would be front page everyday...

right wing doctor congressman pro life demands his adulterous partner get an abortion...

Quote:
On Oct. 10, The Huffington Post reported on the transcript of a phone call between DesJarlais and the woman he was involved with. In the 2000 conversation, Desjarlais offered to accompany his former patient to Atlanta for an abortion and repeatedly mentioned needing to get the problem "fixed" or "solved."

"You told me you'd have an abortion, and now we're getting too far along without one," he said at one point.

DesJarlais, who describes himself as having "a strong pro-life record in Congress" and a "history of fighting for values important to Tennesseans," acknowledged having a sexual relationship with the woman after she came to him with a foot-related injury.
