Not sure if I'm in the right section or not......


I have a Fanatic Heavy Duty Mast, 470CM, looks like new with some shelf wear,

$150.

Located on the eastern Shore of Md.

You might as well ask for 1.5 million dollars, same chance getting that as 150.
It's a late 80's-earliest 90's fiberglass mast. Realistically worth 15 bucks to a boat sailor looking for a whisker pole for his small dinghy.

would you buy a 1960 rusty, about to break down, chevrolet for $50,000?
And no, you are not in the right section.
that remind me though, I used to have a 470 carbon mast 20 years ago, about the same time yours was built. except that my mast was much better than this one, and I wouldn't pay $10 to buy my mast back. Yours? You would have to pay me to bring it to the dump.
No one should use a mast this old, as they will break any seconds after rigging.
definitely a huge hazard. your mast is so old and dangerous, in some way you should be liable if anything happen to the new owner.
Get it?
