Damn, this week starting tomorrow looks fantastic for the OBX!!
Great swell, and moderate SSW wind into Friday! What a primer for the Hatteras Wave Jam!
Then, looks like long term has switch to NE for start of Wave Jam week?!
WOW, Sept has always been literally the best month for wavesailing on the OBX! Year after year, our best sessions happen during this current month!
Definitely my favorite month of the year as a local wave sailor! Trunks, perfect water and air temps, tropical feel out there...., awesome (as long as the storms swing wide which we have happening now)!
Ahhhh, looking forward to some time in the Atlantic this week!!
stay tuned for the reports, though heck hope you can make it here to join us!! |

Super clean big easy riders yesterday in Nags Head! South of O Inlet, it was closing out heavy on the middle bar, but up at Nags Head, classic "Disneyland" setup. Great for light air wave riding, and I definitely had the perfect conditions to put the Sealion Pro to the test!
Today should be a repeat; and if we see S/SSW winds topping 20+ mph here.... Maui Time! Coquina Beach will be the call.
There are photos, but awaiting delivery!
stay tuned!
Note, here is a shot from yesterday of Epic kiteboarding guru, DM out on the SUP mid day in Nags Head.
