The season started very well. I am impressed.

I bought an old 2005 stoke board online to develop my waterstart skills at a cost of $260.

When I went to a windsurf shop to buy additional material, I asked them how much do they think it is worth. Thet told me they would not even pay $50 for it.

Worse, the board suffered during the flight trip.

So i sent it to the car repair shop - the same that change my windshield after I broke it when I moved my board into my car.

In addition, I left a screwdriver under the board when I drilled the footstrap back on the board. It made a major hole. I just discovered it at the car workshop.

The car workshop told me it would be ready by tomorrow. I can't wait to try it.

They're probably just going to stuff the hole full of Bondo, making your board heavy & weak, albeit briefly pretty. Windsurf boards undergo terrific stresses, and need to be repaired right. Find a pro, or look on boardlady.com to find the right way to do it yourself, there's no one in the world more knowledgable.

Plus, I completely mixed up the screws so I could not put them back on the foot straps. I tried so hard, they became worn out and I could not screw them back on the board.

Went to a local hardware shop, they gave me new screws and put them back on the board using an electric drill (it did not even have a plug. they put the electric wire directly in the wall plug).

I asked how much? they said it was free, they even brought it back to my car. They did not want me to carry the board.

I am amzaed
