Plexus really works. I use the stuff to rejuvenate all film sails, whether straight mono or grid. Rinse with fresh water then allow to dry thoroughly, paying close attention to completely drying the batten packets and trim to avoid streaking. Murray's sold indiv. cans of the stuff. Otherwise, Amazon seems an ok source. _________________ Support Your Sport. Join US Windsurfing!

I think he means seeing the boat traffic. There can be quite a lot of it at Crissy, especially during the races.

I hear this year they're placing the windward mark in front of SFYC, so Crissy should not be impacted much. If this stands.
Plexus won't help much because the sails should still be wet if only slightly in Aug 2013? So rather start saving for new sails bought towards the end of the season next year ( |

I just ordered a can of Plexus through Amazon. It's worth a try. |

I'd be curious how it went. |

Alright now. The Plexus arrived today. Of course it doesn't perform miracles and clear cloudy mono which is 8 years old and well worn by sailing behind wind eroded dunes. I tried it anyhow to verify the fact. I would say that it's best used with newer material. |

Unbelievable. On at least 2 prior occasions on iWindsurf, sailingjoe has used the nazi slogan "Arbeit macht frei," and on both occasions he has been called out for it. He is either a fool or an ass, but in either case, he belongs off iWindsurf. This stuff has no place here.
If the moderators will not shut him down, at least ignore his posts. |

It's surprising that Brucie tags with "Arbeit macht frei," since he has never worked a day in his life. But it's probably like when he lapses into French, trying to imply that he's worldly.
"He is either a fool or an ass"
Mmmm..... Both, maybe?
"...he belongs off iWindsurf..."
No, no. Nothing so harsh. He's good, free entertainment. Enjoy the clown show. |
