The preference to argue with straw men and empty chairs is at the heart of the new partisan media in America .Eastwood and others much prefer to provide the opinions on all sides of imaginary debates.
The bulk of TR consists of telling ignorant listeners the opinions of liberals and then high fives all around for the "proof " libs are simpletons who hate America.
Rinse .Repeat.
The Dems would do this too, and have tried, but for some reason liberals seem to not listen to that crap. This doesn't surprise me.
What surprises me is how many conservatives have grown accustomed to the smell and lap it up. |

Pretty easy to prevail in a make-believe debate if your adversary is imaginary and you fabricate the narrative as you go along. |
