Not only do those waves look decent, but don't the great whites leave the gulf for a summer time trip to our neigborhood?

The water temp was about 85, air about the same. It felt great! Wish I got some better pics yesterday. I was so tired and it was getting dark so I just got a few quick snapshots of the closer breaks and didn't wait around to photograph any good rides. People on the outside were going inside the barrel sometimes. That is so rare here.

I know--the great white thing scares me. I grew up on the Cape. We have sharks here in TX but they don't seem to like eating people. I have to admit it's weird, though, sailing off of piers where the people fishing are pulling up sharks constantly, and knowing those are just the little ones.

Hope you get some swell from Kirk.
