Great day at Dougs

Was driving home on 84 yesterday and there were two large
windsurfing or paddle boards in the right lane, with roof
racks scattered about. No one in sight was looking for them, then
a gigantic semi drove over one of the boards.

I guess someone's whole entire roof rack went flying off
their car and with their two boards and they didn't
even notice. It was on 84 right pass Viento.

I personally know two other people who have lost their ranks and gear in the gorge (theirs were factory racks). But to not notice? Wow, must have been real tired from an awesome session...

Yeah... seen this sort of thing happen. This would be a pretty nice place if it weren't so darn windy Smile

If my gear was spread out on interstate highway 84 I don't think I'd be seen wandering around picking things up. As much as I love my boards I'd still rather have a gigantic simi drive over the boards instead of driving over me.
