Oh, baby!
My Skymate has already been making a most pleasant whining sound.
Off to church for an hour this morning, I'll thank God on behalf of us all (many a windsurfer prayers may be answered later today).

PK and OC impressed my daughter with their, rarely seen at Nauset, surfsailing antics. They got some very long rides with a swell coming out of the south coupled with a side-off SW, light but consistent, wind.
With my neighbor and fellow Skaket sailing (well, kiter) partner, paddle surfing was darn good.
Wave catching whether sail or paddle power seemed to out number the proners by 5+ to 1. Age, wisdom and space worked out great as the 4 of us kept to ourselves.
A great way to end the work week.

The answer is yes. The wind will return to the East Coast Nice to see a full parking lot at Kalmus yesterday. Now that Hatteras has shut off for a while, maybe it's our turn now.

Yes, Sunday was nice
The Buzzard's Bay thermal is often under forecasted by iWS. Dry air, sunshine, and high pressure about to move off the coast are a good recipe. Today is looking better than forecast...but the high clouds moving in are suppressing what would've been a solid mid afternoon. The trajectory of the West Island wind graph was heading for 20 for sure if not for those pesky high clouds!

Awaking early I could hear the Nobska foghorn in the distance. Then I get up for breakfast and listen to the forecasts. Little wind, lotsa humidity and a potential mid-day to get hit by lightening.
