I think that thing caught on fire because they turned it around to counteract the effects of the other turbines.

Dear windsurfing community.
Unfortunately due to unforeseen events the WFA (wind farmer's of America) will not be able to move forward with our joint venture with the windsurfing community.
It appears after investigation by authorities that recent damage to our windmill crop may have been caused by a well known ' forecast' service . The investigation is still being conducted. The evidence found to date includes
Kite boarding line tangled in propellers kite boarding stickers on uprights ( the following may be disturbing to younger reader's) a young man seen with board shorts over what appeared to be a wetsuit was seen trampling newly planted windmill crops (windmills to young to fully extend there propellers)
It is our hope that when the person or persons have been brought to justice we will be able to continue our relationship with the windsurf community.
Reward!!!
If you have information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for recent
Damage and dismemberment to WFA crops please contact your local police.
The WFA is prepared to offer life time access to
Any of our 1.5 million windmills to use as you see fit.
Thank you for your help
And understanding during our time of need.
Sincerely WFA.

DENNIS_C Can't possibly have seen those pictures before, I just shot them the other day, that was the first public posting.
Somebody needs to grease the bearings on those windmills!

To late, every hill east of the wall is covered with them.
The windmill 'farmers' stay at the same campgrounds I do when I am in the Gorge. They will be building until 2015 based on info here in camp. The thing I liked most about the eastern Gorge was its unfucked with appearance that my friends is gone forever. I guess that's progress. Everyone likes it but not in there backyard.Gman.
