C.B.'s notion of preventative medicine is a sound one.

We all tripped and bounced our way down stairs as toddlers, but those of us with regular matching sized heads and snugly fitted innards came to little lasting harm. (Apart from a tendency to Marxism, socialism, and a desire to spoil others freedoms.)

Those of quite enormous head size whose innards couldn't possibly fill such a cavernous interior space, (big heads, in the vernacular), must have done irrepairable damage as they bounced their way down, step by step.

Perhaps medics could adapt the housebuilders cavity wall filling process and inject expanding foam to fill the void in those with a serious head size mismatch? It may prevent damage to the logic circuits, thereby preventing flights into the realms of fantasy.

I mean, it's little use wearing a crash helmet to prevent knocks from outside, if a regular game of brain pinball is taking place inside.( Early preventative treatment may even save taxpayers from having to subsidise life long disability payments.)

I always thought the description of one with a "big head" had something to do with the size of the ego. Your explanation makes way more sense!

It's interesting how different "big head" is from "fat head." Which is way different from "Richard Hedd."

I am not so sure I like the direction this conversation is headed.

Thanks for the post Florian. But you may be too optimistic in expecting Obama haters to read, much less anything that is not from an Obama-hater web site. Here's a pithy quote that sums up the article pretty well:

Quote:
Irony abounds when it comes to the Fast and Furious scandal. But the ultimate irony is this: Republicans who support the National Rifle Association and its attempts to weaken gun laws are lambasting ATF agents for not seizing enough weapons—ones that, in this case, prosecutors deemed to be legal.

I don't think any of us will ever know the truth. WHY? The "most transparent administration" has just closed the blinds.

Even though Obama promised never to invoke "executive privelege, he did it. More importantly, he blasted Bush for the same practice.

The truth? Issa and his pack of Republican wolves have spent over 18 months trying to find something that he can blame President Obama or Attorney General Holder for. So far what have they come up with? In reality, Issa doesn't know what he's looking for, but he'll keep digging until he finds something that he can sink his teeth in. Given what I've learned through the investigative Fortune article, seems to me that the real problem is the out of control gun business in Arizona, and the NRA's off-the-top policies and influence lobbying. It's no small wonder why Arizona got a pantload of problems with the Mexican drug cartels.

Issa's political theater is a waste of time and money. While Boehner should be working hard on turning the economy around, he stupidly ignores the country's difficult problems and gives Issa the stage.

So why did Obama lie? He agreed and campaigned for no executive privelege. If he didn't have anything to hide, he could make a fool out of Issa by releasing the information requested.

You've drunk the Koolaid.

Did you read the article? There is a pissing war among agents, and resentment by agents of the prosecuting attorneys. Some of that material goes to the heart of an ongoing investigation, and that is why the Department of Justice won't release it. What a piece of work!

Yeah, the agents are the idiots who implemented this cluster fu@k! Of course they resent it. It makes them look like fools.

And BTW, they can release this information to a select group of congress sworn to secrecy. Let's see if they can hold a secret as well as the WH.
