I have seen this board before, but it's been 25 years so I don't recall the brand. The fin system is one of a kind and you will never find a replacement. Pinch and pull the fin out from the back. You would have to build a new fin box.
Do you have the universal & extension or the dagger board? If not, you are toast. Mount the board on the wall or send it to a landfill. |

Could be an old Fanatic. The first board I bought back in 86 had a fin system just like that. You'll probably never find a replacement fin but with a little ingenuity and craftsmanship, you could probably make one out of wood and then heavily varnish it to make watertight. |

Reminds me of the day we moved to Utah. We'd been at our new home for a couple of hours when my big border collie cross walked back to the house hanging her head between her knees, apparently dragging something with her teeth. As she got closer, we cracked up to see that she had found and stolen a prize: the biggest damn zucchini we had ever seen. It was 2 or 3 feet long, extending past her back feet.
We found the owner, who laughed as hard as we had and encouraged the dog to take the rest of them. They couldn't even give them away, because of the quantity and the fact that at that size they are about as tough to eat as that board would be.

I remember a board in the early/mid-80s when I was a kid that had this kind of fin system. It was an Hifly 444.
Yours is a HiFly too, it looks exactly like the one depicted here:
http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/little-mountain/surfing/hi-fly-wind-surfer/1001511040, probably a 300CS?
Looks like you're going to have top hunt for a "elliptical channel locking skeg", good luck with that As suggested, it might be easier to build/fit something for it... |

If you can find the patch it grew in, maybe your dog can drag back enough of them to build a nice fence.
Then look for something a little newer for $100 for everything ... board, sail, fin, etc. ... to learn on. That would be much simpler than trying to fabricate a fin box for this one.
