I think it's time to change the name of the Rod and Gun site. It's an abhorant name and this IS the Bay Area after all. My vote is for "Peace and Love". The WS site isn't even at the (abhorant) Rod and Gun Club. It's the entrance west of that. The area is now named "Shoreline Park". But I like just switching out the words "Rod, Gun" to "Peace, Love". Anyone else? Any other names? |

Ron and Gun is indeed extremely annoying but just around the corner there is San Quentin, and Peace and Love might be a bit of an over reach: they hold people in death row, and occasionally murder them, in that penitentiary. What about Eternal Sunshine? it is one of the sunniest places in the Bay Area. |

Yes, over the years we've referred to it as Rotten Gun, or Mud & Scum. I'd vote for Rocks and Mud.

Dumb to change a name just to please yourself.
A spot named is always to help people identify where it's at.
Peruse the list on I windsurf. Where is the most important factor. |

You all complain about the mud at Haskins.
You all complain about the length of Oyster.
You all complain about the fee at Coyote.
You all complain about the parking situation at 3rd.
You all complain about the in and out at SanLeandro.
You all can't find the waves at Limantour.
You all can't be bothered to sail a right pointbreak with sideshore winds, because the hike down is too long for you.
