The good folks at the SDWA ( San Diego windsurfing association) are having a spring event on June 9... with some beginner lessons and so on...
See people planing and wound up in 8 knots of wind....
Date: Saturday, June 9, 2012
Time: 12:00 (Lunch is served to paid up members)
Place: East Mission Bay (north of the Hilton Hotel) |

I saw newbies with great interest lined up to learn on furnished equipment...asking questions and interacting with more experienced people...gear for sale and free!....lots of happy and excited people...10 to 13 kts of SW wind....and a future for a deteriorated sport. It was a great get together for all who attended,
