If I remember right rod and gun was the local dump back in the 70's. Ever notice how bad it smells? I don't miss the place. Crawling thru the mud on low tide. LOL . No mud in the gorge. |

not sure if the mud is as toxic as the pestisides and radioactive material in the columbia river.
i know my eyes and nose don't don't burn after an r&g session like they did in the gorge. granted, real gorge sailors never get their heads wet. |

Born and raised in SanFran, lived in Marin for 12 years, I'll take SF Bay to the Gorge any day. Gorge is fricken cold until mid June. |
