Anybody got a solution that has worked for sticking aluminum boom ends; don't seem to slide nearly as nicely as they were new; in fact one hardly slides at all.

Then, purchase a can of McLube and spray liberally inside the boom arms and on the tail piece. Nothing works like McLube. Available at West Marine.

After cleaning them thoroughly, apply Boeshield or McLube spray. Excellent lubricants that neither migrate nor wash off.

Thx for all of the advice; located some Boeshield and everything is good as new in time for the first windy weekend in a while!
