Books on tape; no better way to pass the time while commuting to the Cape for a little action!

Andy Rooney said something similar, that he may as well listen to books while driving, because there's "nothing else to do". I'm glad I never drove on the same busy highways he drove; I miss entire chapters of books when driving, because in ANY traffic at all, I'm focused 100% on the task at hand and don't even know the radio is on.

Sick of going on about wavesaliing on planing longboards? Not in the least, but around here when there's not enough wind for a sinker, the nearest wave or swell or bump is 6 hours away.

To add to my dilemma they completely blew the forecast for Saturday . Friday night They were predicting very little wind for saturday, so I promised my boys I would take them to Canobie lake, only to wake up saturday and see Kalmus is going off. No way could I blow the boys off and maintain my awesome dad status. Thankfully I love roller coasters .

I have the sup and love it , Definitly has saved my sanity , I did also sneak out today and try some wake boarding at a cable park in Conn , lots of fun!!

Brownstone park in Portland Conn has three of these 2.0 cable systems, and a hole bunch of other cool stuff to do , like crazy zip lines , rock climbing , cliff jumping and more.

Yes, this is pathetic. And I thought we were going to have a good spring.
Hmmm..But don't beat yourself up about Saturday, Mat-ty; it blew til 11:30 a.m. then petered out for the rest of the day. (I was lucky enough to get the hour of power with Clfff G.) So, taking your kids to the park was the right decision. There has to be a change-up soon...

I actually rode my bike today. After 20+ years in the bike biz, I took up windsurfing for something different. Now I'm back at it out of desperation. Come on wind, show us what you got!
