was a tricky event... lots of crap floating in the water. Micah for example hit a big log. I ended up with food poisoning or some gnarly flu and went from an iv drip straight to my final heats, was in pretty poor shape and really lost concentration on the start in the final and started 20 seconds after everybody. I was quite happy to make final as it was a decent result to start the year. It's so great to land back in the good ol USA , however. The more I travel, The more I love America ! Off to South Korea next week. fingers crossed.
