Coboardheard ,I snowboard and ski , love both, ski on the scratchy days, and snowboard on the soft days. Always bring both with me , have switched off at lunch many times.
But you hit the nail on the head, the window of oppurtunity is wide open now. It blows in the mid to low teens 5 out 7 days a week in the summer around here. And I know you can ride big windsurfing gear, but the kiting looks better in low wind. We also have a very strong kiting scene here which really adds to the stoke!!

At one time didn't you snowboard guys use kites?

A lot of the guys snowkite also, I will probably try it next year after I take my lumps on the water.

Ski, windsurf, ride. no snowboard, no kite, no shorts over wetsuit, no heelside blindness. no problem.

CB, Im one of those annoying windsurfers that wears a speedo under my wetsuit, and then after a sesh in a crowded venue, I walk around talking to everybody in speedo -only mode.
